Day 17

I bought the yellow surfboard yesterday. 6'3", rounde pin, channel bottom... it's sick. It rides so well. It's the best board that I've ridden since I've been away from home. I love it.

The waves were good yesterday too. I surfed with Qisa in the morning. It was low tide, over head, and super glassy. There were only two of us for a while. It was awesome.

Last night I talked to Morris about all that's going on. I told him that I want to make a plan with the people, and that I'll try to make it happen in America. He's starting to trust me. I need him to trust you, Lord. I pray that you would start to permeate conversation in this village. I pray that your name would be glorified here. This doesn't work without you getting all of the glory. I pray for your will, and your glory. Thank you Jesus for trusting me with this.

I believe that I can do it. Is that a problem? I believe that you are with me, and I believe that circumstances are in my favor. I believe that when I go home things are gonna blow up. It won't happen without you, and I wouldn't want it to. There's no point to any of this without you Jesus. I pray that you would continue to renew my love for you, and my committment to seek you. I need you. I love you. Though my world may fall, I'll never let you go. I can already see a huge difference in myself from the time I left Malaysia. A bigger difference from the time I left Maui. And I'm almost unrecognizable from the time I left home. You are so awesome. I pray that I would continue to press into you as time goes by. As I'm here in Nias, as I go to Mauritius, and especially when I go home.

I pray for everyone in this village. I pray for a clear message to them, to turn from sin and turn to you. I pray that you would speak to them. I pray for the gospel message to be preached, wether through me, or through the SFMI team, or through someone else. I pray that your message would come, and that they would turn to you. Thank you Jesus.

Amen
