The Human Fund is the non-profit organization that we have started in order to take donations and use them directly for the plan outlined previously. The name is borrowed from an episode of the greatest T.V. show of all time, Seinfeld. The episode is hilarious, but I assure you, we are quite serious about this cause.

When you donate to The Human Fund, the money goes directly into an account. My partners and I don't take any money for administrative costs, at least for now, so 100% of your donation goes directly to help. From Sumatra I will contact my partners, and tell them exactly what supplies are necessary to further the cause. Mainly, the money will pay for the wood, and shipping costs. We will post our financial needs as they come up. If the people need clothes, we'll buy clothes. If we need fishing nets, we'll buy fishing nets, and so on. Every penny will be accounted for, and published. At some point we might need to spend some on food for my men and I, or on administrative costs. If so, it will be posted, so that you know exactly what's going on at all times.

I will be posting pictures of the local people, and the work that's being done, as well as an online journal as often as possible. Pretty much every time I'm able to go to port, I will post something new from the journey.
