Night 22

'Twas a good day. The food from O.B.I. arrived today. 154 boxes. Thank you Jesus for bringing that food to the people. There was also a lot of food and stuff from the English people, so I think everybody got food today.(There is an English woman living there who married a local. She and her family have periodically brought supplies in to help. They are doing a very good job, and I hope to partner with them when I go back to Nias.)

The first thing I heard from a local was,"Not enough". I understand that this situation sucks right now, but I think they should be gratefull for what they get. It sounds harsh, but what choice do they have? There are a lot of extremely negative attitudes in this village, and understandably so. I pray for a heart to continuously reach out to them even when they are ungrateful and hard to deal with. I need to reach out because you love them. I need to love them unconditionally. This reminds me a lot of Moses. I can't believe they keep asking for money. They want to be left alone, and given money. I pray for them. I pray for their attitudes, and for my patience. Thank you Jesus for bringing me here. Thank you for showing me your love for me, and for these people. I pray for deeper understanding.

I pray for surf. I pray that there would be good waves before we leave. Thank you for the waves that we've already gotten. I pray for Machine to get good for Mark, Tam, and I. If for no other reason than to save myself from a titty-twister.(I bet Mark that Machine would break before we left, or he could give me a massive titty-twister) Thank you Jesus for bringing me here. I pray that I would be able to come back quickly, and that I would be able to help in a very real way. Phisically, practically, and especially spiritually. Thank you Jesus. Please speak more and more to Morris. I think he's coming around a bit. Thank you Jesus.

Amen
