Night 20

Good evening Lord. Today was another good day. We had some team worship and prayer this morning, and it was awesome. When we all came back to the village there was a guy from the American Embassy that showed up. He was looking for me (the stubborn/vagabond/hippie/surfer who despite numerous attempts to convince otherwise, decided to go back to Nias.=) He ended up staying for lunch and talking with us for a while.

After lunch, a few of us went in to town to check things out for a while. I showed Joe around Teluk-Dalam. We ended up hooking up with a rep from O.B.I.(Operation Blessing Indonesia). There are 150 boxes of food coming to the village tomorrow at 10:30am. There are 3,222 people in the village. We were concerned that we would have a problem with jealousy or just not having enough food for everyone. We were trying to decide what we should do. We thought we were going to have to choose who to give the food to, and leave out a group of people. So we went to discuss the situation with te chief. He was very happy to meet with us, and as it turns out, he has a lot of rice that he has held on to. He didn't want to distribute it to only a few people. With the 150 boxes of food from O.B.I., I think there might be enough food for the people. With God's love, there will definitely be enough food for everyone. Thank you Jesus.

Amen
